JOB DESCRIPTION
Skill: BO Developer
Role: T3, T2
Interested in Creation and maintenance of IT architectures and Business Intelligence to enable development of better systems? If so, Virtusa might have a place for you amongst our dynamic BI teams
Key responsibility:
- Position requires hands-on experience with Business Objects and will design, develop, test and maintain Business Objects/Crystal/Webi Reports and BI Content.
- Perform hands-on ETL design/dev/test/support using Informatica.
- Contribute to and apply design, development and performance standards, and will contribute to and apply procedures and processes to improve operational efficiencies.
- Provide support during and outside of business hours by working closely with end users, peer developers, and admins.
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of experience in Business Objects (Webi/Crystal) version 4.1x & Informatica 10.x. Includes ability to gather requirements, design, develop, maintain BI solutions.
- Good hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning.
- Experience in database experience such as Netezza, Oracle, MS SQL Server.
- Good Experience in BO administration.
- Report and query tuning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent professional experience is required.
