Solution architecture for Product and Platform enhancements (the product/platform is based on Kubernetes based containerized REST application with analytics running on a Spark Cluster). Convert solution architecture to various detailed architectures like Deployment Topology, Data Flow and Integration architectures. Interact with Business stakeholders and convert requirements into actionable Architecture for teams to implement Communicate Architectural road maps for platform/product to a wide range of audience (both senior management and engineers) Structured assessment of new technologies, tools and services (with detailed pros and cons). Work with other Architects (in the platform and across the organization) to come up with new solutions Provide technical guidance to teams (onsite and offshore) during implementation of solution/capabilities Review and approve work done by teams (onsite and offshore) before QA testing Technology Mentorship of architects and technical leads in the project and account Provide presale support define solution architecture, size effort for proposals Support recruiting of senior technical folks into the account/team. On the ground troubleshooting skills to help teams when in crunch situations. Skill Set: Hands on experience in identifying implementing Architectural and Design patterns Architecture and Design documentation and communication skills Java, REST API, Integration Architecture Spark (additional nicetohave: pyspark) Kubernetes, Docker Building and consuming Cloud native based services (preferably IBM Cloud) Relational Database concepts, Document database (MongoDB etc.), Cloud object storage Hadoop, HDFS, Hive Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (E.g.
